the bombs destroying Viet Nam
the bombs that spread an American Empire of Destruction
the bombs that empower Nixon’s Empire of Repression
the bombs whose explosion is the sound of straight male power that would destroy gay life, leave Christopher Street in the same rubble it has left Hanoi
The bombs which announce an era of increased persecution, arrest, imprisonment of gays
What gay freedom can we hope for as long as we hear the bomb fall.
