All across the world
...the politicians and capitalists have put us in a situation of economic and environmental precarity.
Yet on a global level, people are resisting and fighting for their freedom – from Egypt to Greece, and even in North America – with strikes, occupations, riots, and revolutions.
Here in Montréal, the tuition fee hikes are just one example of the politicians and capitalists making us pay for their crisis, along with the rising costs of food, transit fare hikes, and social service cuts. They even discuss sucking two more years of work from us by increasing the retirement age.
Don’t be fooled into “shouldering the burden”. These measures only protect the interests of the bosses.
