Stop the legal lynching - Free Mumia Abu-Jamal
Mumia Abu-Jamal is a former Black Panther and acclaimed journalist, currently on deathrow. Known as ’VOICE OF THE VOICELESS’ for his integrity and critical coverage on racism, repression and exploitation of the African Community, Mumia was elected President of the Philadelphia Association of Black Journalists in 1980. He has been targeted by the racist Philadelphia Police and then Mayor Rizzo for his coverage on the MOVE standoff and trial. In this trial 9 MOVE members were sentenced to 100 years prison each for the murder of one policeman with one bullet. Mumia Abu-Jamal uncovered the frame-up. In 1981, six months after the MOVE trial, Mumia saw his brother being beaten by police (similar to what happened to Rodney King). He tried to help his brother and was found later with a shotwound in the chest. A few meters from him lay the body of a shot police officer. Although several witnesses saw the gunman run away, Mumia was declared a copkiller and sentenced to death in a two-day-trial which, according to Amnesty International, was an UNFAIR TRIAL. Mumia was not allowed to defend himself, several witnesses were refused by the court and the jury was almost entirely white. Mumia has been fighting to get a new trial since 1982.
Stop the counterinsurgency - Free Fred Hampton Jr
Fred Hampton Jr.’s father, Fred Hampton, was a Black Panther, murdered by Chicago Police and FBI in ’69 and rehabilitated by the city of Chicago in the early ’90 for his outstanding work in the African Community. Fred Hampton jr. followed in his father’s footsteps in organising the African Community in Chicago.
He was framed in ’92 in the aftermath of the L.A. Rebellion on arson charges of two Corean Stores. The trial produced no material evidence, only shabby witnesses and no testimony. Fred Hampton jr. was sentenced to 18 year imprissonment.
This is part and parcel of the counterinsurgency policy of the U.S. gov’ment against African leadership in order to destabile and sabotage ANY form of organisation. Fred Hampton Jr. must be free and able to work in his community.Demonstrate :

1 October 2010
Demonstration
4pm - Gare du Midi (South Station) — Brussels Belgium
In Steenokkerzeel, at the end of the airstrip of the airport of Zaventem, the State is buiding a new closed centre (a prison for people without official papers). Constructed like a normal prison (with individual cels and advanced control mechanisms), it is made to imprison the most insubordinate and to serve as a means of pression to suppress the revolts in the other closed centres.
We want neither this new center, nor any prison.during the No Border Camp 25 September - 3 October

Defend Rigaer 94 and Kadterschmiede
The Kadterschmiede and part of the living area of Rigaer 94 could be evicted at any time ! All that is left is for the bailiff to give us the eviction date. This will probably be sometime this spring. But, of course, leaving is not an option.
We need your support — whatever your resources, whatever your means are. To prevent the eviction, actions need to happen NOW and right up to the eviction date, in Berlin and all across Europe, so that the message to the politicinas is clear : if the eviction takes place not only the air will burn.
On the day of the eviction we want to act together to paralyse the city we want to block it all.
Demonstrate block sabotage
put Berlin in chaos
